West Bengal Govt temporarily suspends Shramik Trains due to Amphan Cyclone
West Bengal Govt temporarily suspends sharmik trains. Due to Amphan cyclone government of west bengal decided to cancel all shramik trains till 26th May 2020. The West Bengal chief secretary Rajiv Sinha has written a letter to chairmen of railway board.
Chief Secretary of west bengal written in a letter ” As you are aware, West Bengal has been severely impacted by super cyclone amphan on may 20/may 21 causing extensive damage to the infrastructure
As district administration is involved with relief and rehabilitation works, It will not be possible to receive special trains for next few days. It’s requested that no train should be sent to the state till may 26th.

As per the latest update due to Amphan Cyclone death toll rises to 86. On Friday honorable prime minster Narendra Modi announced relief package of Rs/-1000 crore.
