Telangana Govt Decided To Cut Salaries- Telangana State Honorable Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao Garu on Monday Conducting high level meeting to review the economic impact of Lock Down due to Covid-19, Decided to cut on salaries across various categories. Also retired employees will have cut their category as stated previously the deferment of salary applies to all PSUs/Government-aided institutions/ organizations and comes into effect from March 2020.

Salary Cuts:- For CM, MLAs, MLCs, Chairperson of all corporations and elected representatives of all local bodies- 75% and All India Services Officers IAS, IPS and IFS-60%, All other employees except class-iv category-50%, Class-IV employees & out-sourcing/ contract employees-10%

Honorable Chief Minister Telangana K.C.R held a high level meeting at pragathi bhavan on 30th March 2020 to discuss the best practices to be adopted with respect to rice cultivation, harvest, milling, procurement and exports and lack of inflow of resources.

Government of Telangana, Finance Department released G.O.Ms.No. 27 on 30th March 2020 due to covid-19 the epidemic diseases act, 1897 lock down-economic slowdown. Due to Corona Virus Lock Down Telangana CM decided to cut salaries. These orders shall come into force, for the gross salary for the month of March 2020, Payable on 1st April 2020 and will continue to be in force till further orders says Somesh Kumar (Chief Secretary To Government)
