Ministry of Railways release guidelines for train services beginning on 1st June 2020. MOR consulting with MOHFW and MHA India and decided to resume train services from 1/06/2020 with 200 passenger services.
Indian Railways has already released the full list of IRCTC special trains that will run from 1st June. These 200 special trains will be over on above the shramik trains and 50 pairs of AC trains that the IRCTC has already been running so far.
To Travel on railways check norms made for booking of tickets & charting, quota, concessions, cancellation & refunds, health screening, catering, linen etc.

At present Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation accept e-ticket bookings through IRCTC website or mobile app. No ticket booked across the reservation counters at any railway stations.
MOR Taken a decision to run 200 passenger services. Only passengers with confirmed tickets shall be allowed to enter railway station, Screening to be done before boarding and only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to enter/ board the train.
Also, on arrival at their destination, the travelling passengers will have to follow health protocols.
Booking Of Tickets & Charting
- Only online e-ticket will be done through IRCTC website or through mobile app. So passengers book your tickets for 200 passenger trains which is started from 1st June visit irctc.co.in portal.
- The Advanced Reservation shall be maximum 30 days. RAC and wait list generated as per extant rules however waiting list ticket holders shall not be permitted to board the train
- Also, no tatkal and premium booking shall be permitted in these trains
- Passengers shall observe social distancing both at station and on trains.
