Ministry of Home Affairs India issues guidelines on Lockdown 4.0. To fight on COVID-19 lockdown extended to till 31st May 2020. These new guidelines announced by MHA Union Home Secretary on 17th May 2020, Guidelines on the measures to be taken by ministries/ departments of government of India, State/ UT governments and State/ UT authorities for containment of COVID-19 in the country upto 31st May 2020.

As per MHA order no.40-3/2020-DM-1(A) lock down continue till 31st May. the following activities shall continue remain prohibited throughout country.

To new orders all domestic and international air travel of passengers prohibited. Only domestic medical services, domestic air ambulance for security purpose excepted.

Also, metro rail services, schools colleges, educational/ training/ coaching institution etc, will remain closed. Online/ Distance learning shall continue to be permitted and shall be encouraged.

Also, Hotels, restaurants and other hospitality services, except those meant for housing health police/ government officials/ healthcare workers/ stranded persons including tourists and for quarantine facilities and running of canteens at bus depots, railway stations and airports.

Cinema halls, shopping malls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, bars and auditoriums,  sports complexes to open however spectators not allowed.

All social/ political/ sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural/ religious functions/ other gatherings and large congregations.

All religious places or worship shall be closed for public, religious congregations are strictly prohibited
