Maharashtra State Govt Extended Lockdown till 31st May 2020
Maharashtra Govt Extended Lock down till 31st May 2020 in the entire state, Guidelines to be strictly implemented. As per the new update of MOHFW Government of India at Maharashtra COVID-19 Positive cases reported 30706 and 1135 death, cured/discharged/migrated is 7088. Therefore 18,000 cases in Mumbai alone.
Last time when the state government extended the lock down announced followed by specific guidelines with respective each region i.e green/ orange/red. Also govt last time follow separate guidelines Mumbai & Pune alone and containment zones.
Government of Maharashtra Department of Revenue of Forest, Disaster Management Relief and Rehabilitation, Mantralaya, Mumbai released press note regarding extension of lock down for the containment of COVID-19 in the state.
At press note govt mention ” it is further directed that all earlier orders shall be aligned with order and shall remain in force up to and inclusive of 31st may 2020. The calibrated phase wise relaxation/ lifting of lockdown orders will be notified in the due course.
Also, government on this pandemic 11,379 Maharashtra state transport buses have ferried 1,41,798 migrant labourers to the borders of states like Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka.
