Ministry of Education Government of India, UGC Guidelines For Re-Opening Of Universities & Colleges. Here it is the specific measures to be taken i.e Universities & colleges may plan opening the campuses in phases, with activity where COVID appropriate behavior can be easily followed.

Universities & Colleges to ensure not more than 50% of the total students are present at any point & necessary COVID-19 protocols are observed. All research & postgraduates students in science & technology programmes are present may join as they comparatively less in number  & COVID preventive measures can be easily enforced.

Final year students may also be allowed to join for academic & placement purposes, as per the decision of the head of the institution. For other programmes online/distance learning shall continue to be the preferred mode of teaching & shall be encouraged.

Students may visit their departments in a small number after seeking prior appointments for faculty consultations. Institutions may provide online study material & access to e-resources to students who may opt to study online. Also online teaching-learning arrangements should be made for international students who couldn’t join the programme due to travel restrictions or visa-related issues.
